People with an earthy yellow color on their philtrum are suffering from spleen and stomach deficiency, insufficient vital energy, or chronic gastrointestinal diseases. 30. If a pregnant woman has a shallow, flat, and yellowish philtrum, which is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, and has a black tongue coating, the fetus may be stillborn or its development may have stopped. 31. Women with blood heat and metrorrhagia often feel heat in the philtrum. The philtrum, bladder and uterus are located at the two ends of the Du meridian, forming an internal connection through the Du meridian.
