Hut 8, a North American mining company, purchased 12,000 new MicroBT mining machines for $58.7 million

Hut 8 Mining, a North American cryptocurrency miner, has purchased 12,000 new MicroBT M30S, M30S+, and M30S++ mining machines from Inchigle Technology Hong Kong Ltd.

The miner purchased the equipment for $58.7 million, at a cost of about $50 per exahash, with a total incremental capacity of 1.17 exahash per second. Deliveries are expected to begin in January 2022, with about 1,000 machines per month, and full deployment by December 2022.
