Walmart starts operating Bitcoin ATMs

The retail giant has partnered with crypto ATM company Coinme to offer Bitcoin through its 200 Coinstar kiosks, and shoppers can purchase the cryptocurrency at Coinstar machines inside the retailer’s massive big-box stores.

Coinstar has partnered with Coinme to launch a pilot that allows its customers to buy Bitcoin using cash," said Molly Blakeman, Walmart's director of communications. There are 200 Coinstar kiosks inside Walmart stores across the U.S. that are part of the pilot.
