Foreign media: Bitmain plans to suspend sales of mining machines in China

Bitmain plans to suspend sales of its mining machines to miners in mainland China, according to three sources who have spoken with the company.

Two of the sources are responsible for purchasing mining machines at major mining pools, while the third source works extensively with Chinese miners. All of them asked to remain anonymous. Bitmain will also move most of its production from Shenzhen to other countries, the three sources said. Bitmain did not respond to multiple requests for comment by press time.
