On August 25, analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart believed that ProShares and VanEck’s recent withdrawal of the Ethereum (ETH-USD) futures ETF proposal submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) may prompt the approval of the Bitcoin (BTC-USD) ETF. “The swift withdrawal of the Ethereum futures ETF proposal by VanEck and ProShares bodes well for potential Bitcoin futures ETFs as the SEC allows such applications to remain active,” the analysts said. Bitcoin futures ETFs may be launched as early as October. At the same time, we believe that the SEC may approve multiple Bitcoin futures ETFs to be listed at the same time to avoid the formation of first-mover advantage. "(Jinshi) |
