The average Ethereum Gas price fell by 43% this month, and miners’ daily income fell below 7,000 ETH

According to news on April 13, the average Gas price of Ethereum has continued to decline recently. According to statistics from Etherescan, on April 11, the average Gas price of Ethereum was about 85.2 Gwei, a low point in nearly two months. On April 12, the average Gas price of Ethereum was about 109.3 Gwei, still in the recent low range.
In fact, the average price of Ethereum Gas has been falling since this month, with a drop of about 43.04% this month. Compared with the peak in February, the current average Gas price has dropped sharply by about 70.76%. The average Gas price in April was about 135.7 Gwei, lower than February and March, but still higher than January.
Overall, the average Gas price so far this year is about 148.4 Gwei, much higher than last year’s average of 60.56 Gwei, and is still on a significant upward trend.

Since handling fees are an important part of Ethereum miners' income, the daily income of Ethereum miners has also dropped due to the recent drop in Gas prices. According to statistics from glassnode, the daily income of miners this month has dropped from 15,538 ETH to 8,635 ETH, a drop of 44.43%. Among them, when the average Gas price hit a two-month low on April 11, the daily income of miners was about 6,690 ETH, falling below 7,000 ETH. (PANews)
