Malaysia’s Securities Commission adds Binance to investor warning list

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has added Binance to its Investor Alert List, which identifies corporate entities that fail to comply with Malaysia’s securities laws.

The SC said that Binance was operating a public trading market without the SC’s approval. It is worth mentioning that Binance’s platform had added support for the Malaysian ringgit in March, allowing users to purchase certain cryptocurrencies using the country’s legal currency.
