BZE coin graphics card mining tutorial - BTCZ fork coin, Zhash (Equihash 144,5) algorithm, algorithm to resist mining machines

BZEdge is a fourth generation cryptocurrency that is not limited by development boundaries, restrictions or limitations. It is a community-driven coin that aims to build an ecosystem that provides reliable solutions for multiple real-life needs. Transaction speed, user privacy, ease of use and global reach are some of the advantages that BZEdge uses to improve the global financial environment.

BZEdge is a fork of BTCZ at around block height 160,000, with the new algorithm Zhash (Equihash 144,5). Although the BTCZ fork was successful, the old chain remained active and unmaintained, so a group of developers and crypto enthusiasts adopted it and named it BZEdge.

At block height 200.000 BZEdge implemented another fork and changed the POW algorithm to Zhash to maintain ASIC resistance. At the same time, the block time was reduced from 2.5 minutes to 1 minute to allow for faster transactions. This fork will not be revealed to the public in order to prevent a serious equilibrium attack that would occur if the first ASIC miners wreaked havoc on many chains.

BZE is not bound or constrained by any rules or people that can prevent the stated main goal, which is to keep up with the latest technological developments and advancements in the evolution of blockchain. Any new technology available can be implemented as a feature in the BZEdge ecosystem as long as it brings value to end users, miners, and investors.

Windows (Java GUI): https://github.com/BZEdge/bzedge-win/releases

Java wallet usage tutorial :

1. The computer needs to have the JAVA operating environment installed. If you don't have it, you can download and install it.

https://java.com/en/download/

2. If you have already installed the vrsc wallet, you can skip this step and go directly to the next one. If you have not installed it, you need to download the following two files:

http://downloads.bzedge.org/sprout-proving.key

http://downloads.bzedge.org/sprout-verifying.key

Open the command prompt in the Start menu, type cmd, and enter the following command:

mkdir "%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\ZcashParams"

Then copy the two files you just downloaded to the ZcashParams folder. The path refers to the command above. If you don’t know how to do it, you can directly search for this folder.

3. Set BZEdge conf

Also open the command prompt and enter the following two commands:

mkdir "%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\BZEdge"

notepad "%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Roaming\BZEdge\bzedge.conf"

If prompted to create bzedge.conf, click Yes, then enter the following text in the pop-up Notepad:

daemon=1

showmetrics=0

rpcuser=something

rpcpassword=secure

4. Now the basic settings are complete. Just run the wallet file BZEdgeWallet.jar to open the wallet. The synchronization will take some time. Because it is a forked coin, the previous btcz blocks must also be synchronized. However, these will not affect your acquisition of the coin address. Go to mine first.
