Hyperledger adds new blockchain application deployment tool "Cello"

Rage Review : Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger project announced the addition of a blockchain application deployment tool called “Cello”, which can provide a method for “developing, managing, and terminating blockchains” and eventually become a support mechanism for other projects. This tool has the potential to enhance cooperation within the Hyperledger ecosystem.

The Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger project has added new tools for deploying blockchain applications.

Hyperledger said Cello is meant to provide a way to “develop, manage, and terminate blockchains,” and will eventually serve as a supporting mechanism for other projects, including Fabric, Iroha, Sawtooth Lake, and others.

The project team hopes it can enhance collaboration between these projects and other developers in the Hyperledger ecosystem.

Baohua Yang, who first proposed “Cello” to Hyperledger, said:

"'Cello' welcomes collaboration with other important projects to enable another open source project."

The official joining of “Cello” marks an important step for Hyperledger in 2017. Last year, the number of members of the organization exceeded 100. At the end of 2016, Hyperledger began to plan to expand to China and increase the testing scope of members.
