Rumor that Nasdaq is using tØ blockchain platform

Bitcoin House News November 4 CoinDesk News US online retailer Overstock has confirmed that Nasdaq does not use its developed   tØBlockchain platform to record transactions.

This is a rumor about Nasdaq - which just launched its own blockchain platform last week - using the online store blockchain platform to settle transactions - the news first appeared on Reddit earlier today .

However, Overstock executives told CoinDesk:

" This is a complete rumor, Nasdaq is doing something similar but not using our platform. "

In May this year , Nasdaq announced that Nasdaq Linq will make it easier to trade and sell shares of private companies.

The product is currently in the trial phase, with select startups including blockchain technology company Chain ( which developed the platform in partnership with Nasdaq) and micropayments company ChangeTip .
