Bitcoin mining machine Ant S3+ configuration and installation tutorial

Antminer S3+ is easy to install. By following the steps below, you can easily complete the installation of Antminer.

Prepare the materials:

1. Antminer;

2.   power supply;

3.   Network cable.

Installation steps:

1.      Connect the network cable with one end connected to the router to the mining machine;

2.      Power short circuit (computer power only);

Use a paper clip to short-circuit the 24 pins (green wire + black wire (either one))

3.      Two 6-pin ports ( P-CIE ) can be connected to either the left or right side of the mining machine, or all of them can be connected.

4.      Power on and run

Ant S3+ Setting Tutorial

Antminer uses a WEB interface setting, which is simple and friendly. By following the steps below, you can easily complete the Antminer setting work.

The factory IP of Ant is 192.168.1.99.

1. Enter the IP address of your mining machine in the browser. http://192.168.1.99 The username and password are both root ( lowercase )

2. After logging into the mining machine, click Network ----- Interface , you can see LAN and WAN . LAN is used for factory debugging. Users should modify the WAN port for mining .

Special attention:

Do not operate the LAN unless necessary!

LAN and WAN cannot be in the same IP segment!

The WAN link cannot be deleted!

3. Click the Modify button to enter the IP configuration page of the WAN port . My router is in segment 1 .

The default IP address is 192.168.1.99 , which can be modified to 192.168.1.100 or other related network segments. The gateway address is 192.168.1.1 and the DNS address is 192.168.1.1.

DNS can also be set to 8.8.8.8 (Google) 202.106.0.20 (China Unicom) 114.114.114.114 (China Telecom)

PS : If the network segment changes, the gateway and DNS also need to change accordingly.

4. After configuring the IP , click Save & Apply, wait for 10 seconds, turn off the power of the mining machine, and then turn it on after 10 seconds.

Then enter the IP address http://192.168.1.X and the password root to log in. The following is the page after login.

5. Click Miner Confinguration to enter the mining pool configuration page.

Common mining pools www.antpool.com The default mining pool is our official test mining pool.

Modify the miner to your own, click Save & Apply.

6. Enter MinerStatus and refresh a few times to see the mining data.

Antminer S3+: Reset the control board

If your mining machine control board is bricked, you can send it back for warranty, but you can also reset it as follows to save time.

Step 1: Power on the Ant for 1 minute and wait for the control board to start normally;

Step 2: Use a paper clip to press the button shown in the picture for 10 seconds (Fan 1 test);

Step 3: The mining machine will be restored to factory settings, and the IP address is 192.168.1.99 .

Antminer S3+ : Firmware Upgrade

Firmware upgrade tutorial

1.       Check your firmware version

2.       Enter the Antminer S3+ firmware upgrade page

3.     Select the firmware version to upgrade

Select the checkbox: Keep the original configuration of the mining machine (including IP , mining pool, etc.)

Uncheck: Restore the miner to factory settings

4. Click Execute to continue;

5. Restart begins, please do not turn off the power

6. If the firmware upgrade is successful, the login interface will be displayed;

7. Turn off the power and restart.
