On July 17, according to informed sources, ASICME.com, a professional Bitcoin mining equipment service provider, has successfully completed the acquisition and integration of an ASIC chip R&D team, and is expected to break through the dilemma that the ASICME series of mining machines it is selling are severely restricted by the supply of upstream chip manufacturers.

ASIC chips have always been an important factor restricting the production of Bitcoin mining machines, and the chip R&D and production costs of tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of yuan have become an insurmountable threshold for most manufacturers to enter. Despite this, according to incomplete information statistics, there are still dozens of teams in China conducting R&D work on ASIC chips for Bitcoin mining machines, many of which have entered the tape-out stage, and some of the technologies are already fully mature.

ASICME.com did not respond to the acquisition when interviewed by reporters, but only stated that while selling the original AvalonASIC chip-based mining machines, it would add a limited amount of computing power leasing services from September 1st.
