Wall Street is exploring Bitcoin's deeper technology

Although it has been several months since the turbulent drop in Bitcoin prices, some large Wall Street financial institutions such as the New York Stock Exchange, Goldman Sachs, and Fortress still choose to continue to believe in digital virtual currencies. These companies are currently exploring the deep technology of Bitcoin.

It is worth noting that Fengze Investment is currently focusing on building a Bitcoin hedge fund. The New York Stock Exchange has also invested in the famous Bitcoin wallet Coinbase. In addition, Goldman Sachs has also frequently appeared in the Bitcoin investment circle, hoping to make people have a more intuitive understanding of Bitcoin in a more intuitive way rather than through computers.

According to David Berg, founder and CEO of the New York City Digital Currency Committee, a public group that provides certification for Bitcoin companies, these large Wall Street institutions have a common reason for investing in Bitcoin: they hope to have a chance to learn about Bitcoin at the same time.

At the time of writing, Fortress Investments is facing huge losses, having invested in Bitcoin at a high of $1,200 in 2013, and now Bitcoin is down to $250. Early last year, Fortress Investments also bought a stake in Bitcoin startup Pandora Capital Management.

In May, the New York Stock Exchange launched a bitcoin index to increase transparency in the digital currency market. "According to recent data analysis, bitcoin is becoming a popular investment for customers," said Thomas Farley, president of the New York Stock Exchange Group, in a statement.
