Bitcoin mining machine Antminer C1 water cooling installation tutorial

Bitcoin mining machine - Antminer C1 is the first water-cooled mining machine launched by Bitmain. It is small in size and has high computing power, suitable for high-density deployment. Water cooling can effectively cool the mining machine, making the Bitcoin mine quiet and stable.
1. Open the packaging box and check whether the products and accessories in the box are complete according to the detailed configuration table.

2. Open the small packaging box and take out the water pump and accessories.

Install the pagoda in the small packaging bag on the water pump and install the shock-absorbing pad on the bottom of the water pump with screws.

3. Take out the heat exchanger and bracket.

Remove the screws at the position indicated by the arrow in the figure, install the heat exchanger bracket on the heat exchanger as shown in Figure 10, and tighten the screws.

Use short screws to fix the other end of the bracket to the heat exchanger. Similarly, install the other bracket on the heat exchanger. Now the installation of the heat exchanger bracket is complete.

4. Take out the C1 miner, remove the screws, and install the water nozzle.

5. Remove the mining machine cover and plug the fan extension cable into the mining machine computing board plug as shown in the figure to power the fan and P60 water pump. After the fan extension cable is connected, install the mining machine cover back on the mining machine and connect the fan and water pump to the fan extension cable.

6. Place the mining machine, water pump, and heat exchanger according to the relative positions during actual work, and plan the length and layout of the heat pipe according to the relative positions during actual work. Connect the water cooling system according to the following order: water pump outlet → water cooling plate inlet → water cooling plate outlet → heat exchanger inlet → heat exchanger outlet → water pump inlet. The specific steps are as follows:

①. Take out the liquid guide tube, determine the length of the liquid guide tube required from the water pump to the mining machine cold head according to the relative position during actual work, cut the liquid guide tube, and put spring clips on both ends of the liquid guide tube. Insert one end of the liquid guide tube into the water outlet of the water pump and the other end into the water nozzle of the mining machine cold head, and use pliers to fix the spring clip on the nozzle. (Special attention: the liquid guide tube must not be bent, otherwise it will hinder the circulation of the liquid and cause serious consequences.)

②. Use the same method as ① to connect the cold head of the mining machine to the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger to the water inlet of the water pump with the liquid guide tube. Note that each joint must be fixed with a spring clip and the liquid guide tube must not be bent.

7. Unscrew the filling hole screw on the top of the water pump and fill the water pump with liquid.

Connect the power supply to the mining machine. When the water pump is running, continue to pour liquid into the water pump, then turn it upside down and shake the heat exchanger. After the air in the water channel is exhausted, fill the water pump with liquid, tighten the screws of the liquid filling hole, and the liquid filling is completed. (Special note: If the air is not exhausted, it will lead to poor heat dissipation effect)

According to user needs, place the mining machine and water cooling system in a suitable position, and finally check the pipeline again to ensure smooth liquid circulation and avoid the phenomenon of the liquid guide tube being bent. At this point, the installation is complete.
